Rebeka 'Bekki' Campbell
11/30/1993 - 2/17/2012

At the young age of 18, Rebeka Eliza Campbell left the cares and pain of this world February 17, 2012 . Her family and friends were close by her bedside at Timpanogos Hospital when she departed our company, and other family and friends were on the other side to greet her.

Bekki, as she was affectionately called, was a friend to all. She loved and cared for her friends, her family, and all in her reach. She also adored animals of all shapes and sizes. Through the years she had many hamsters, dogs, and rats.

Bekki loved to long board Provo canyon on warm summer nights with her friends and siblings. In the winter her family and friends enjoyed her bright spirit skiing and snowboarding at Sundance and Brighton. Whenever someone was in need Bekki was there with arms wide open and a wit and humor that erased worries and pain.

Bekki was truly a warm-spirited young woman who exemplified love and caring. She was an amazing aunt to her nephew Liam from the moment he was born. She frequently cared for him while his mother worked. Bekki taught him to use a smart phone and they really liked to watch YouTube videos together. She also adopted a few other honorary nephews and nieces(Carden, Brailynn, Brandon and Connor) along the way. She always could put a smile on your face and it was extremely hard to be upset at her.

Bekki was born November 30, 1993 in Provo, Utah to Ronald N Campbell and Renate Renee Zelenka. She was the fourth of five children and the second daughter. Bekki also has a half-sister who lives in Anchorage, AK. She lived in Orem her entire life with the exception of one year her family spent in Fayetteville, NC while her father attended military training at Ft. Bragg in 2003. Bekki attended Orem Elementary, Orem Jr. High, and Mountain View High School. For the past year she had been assigned to the Home and Hospital Program of Alpine School District. She played softball for several years through the Orem Recreation Department. Bekki participated in track and field at Orem Jr. High. She also played Junior Jazz basketball. Bekki ran the Las Vegas Ragnar Relay in 2009 with family and friends.

Bekki will be dearly missed by her parents, Ronald and Renate Campbell of Orem, UT; her fiancee, Braylee Anderson of Provo, UT; her siblings: Christina Michelsohn, Anchorage, AK; Reid, Rachel, Rory, and Ryker Campbell all of Orem, UT. Her nephew, Liam Campbell, Orem, UT and her nieces, Elizabeth and Madison Michelsohn, Anchorage, AK. Her maternal grandparents, Jack and April Zelenka of Goodyear, AZ, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Park 7th ward chapel, 1160 West 400 South Orem, Utah. Please join her family in celebrating her life at a viewing on Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the church and an additional viewing at the church on Friday from 11:30-12:30 prior to services. Burial will be at the Orem City Cemetery. Funeral Directors – Walker Sanderson Funeral Home of Orem, Utah.
